With this practical research project, we offer a reality-based platform, which enables students to train important techniques and basic principles of a circular construction in the building sector.<br><br>The starting point was a deconstruction workshop. The students learned to measure and evaluated the gained materials and set up a digital material depot with material passes.<br>Afterwards, students were asked to design a storage and service building, using the parts obtained from the deconstruction in a fully circular manner including additional materials from the urban mine.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-query is-layout-flow wp-block-query-is-layout-flow\"><ul class=\"wp-block-post-template is-layout-flow wp-block-post-template-is-layout-flow\"><li class=\"wp-block-post post-9421 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-beletage category-stegreife category-teaching\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-post-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nb.ieb.kit.edu\/index.php\/urban-mining-in-markgraflerland\/\" target=\"_self\" >URBAN MINING in Markgr\u00e4flerland<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-post-excerpt\"><p class=\"wp-block-post-excerpt__excerpt\">Dealing with existing structures will be one of the most important tasks in Germany and Europe in the coming years and decades.
