>Research area:<\/em> Reflexivity and Responsiveness in Architecture – \u2018Reflexive architecture\u2019<\/em>: basis for architectural space production in rapidly urbanizing regions (focusing on socio-spatial transformations); \u2018Responsive architecture\u2019 –<\/em> Spatial design (as a strategy) to guide emerging urbanization towards goals of Sustainability<\/em> (Focusing on environmental rehabilitation and livelihood production). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

>Practice:<\/em> Founding partner and general manager of OADUS architecture and engineering plc – Office for architecture, design and urban studies – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (since 2009). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
