Reuse-Demonstrator
Dealing with existing structures will be one of the most important tasks in Germany and Europe in the future. With this practical research project, we offer a reality-based platform, which enables students to train important techniques and basic principles of a circular construction in the building sector.
The starting point was a deconstruction workshop. The students learned to measure and evaluated the gained materials and set up a digital material depot with material passes.
Afterwards, students were asked to design a storage and service building, using the parts obtained from the deconstruction in a fully circular manner including additional materials from the urban mine.
