Final presentation: Research seminar Lehm +
On 21 July 2026, 14 students presented their work in the Materials Library as part of the Lehm+ research seminar.
Working in pairs, they investigated a range of materials related to clay as a building material, from cork-clay insulation to rammed earth. Throughout the semester, they explored the materials‘ origins, processing methods, environmental impact, and circularity, while critically reflecting on their potential and limitations.
The seminar results have been integrated into the Materials Library in the form of data sheets and material samples and will be available for loan from the winter term onwards.
